Certification and Qualification Engineer

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Certification and Qualification Engineer to join the Airworthiness Department at Airbus Helicopters in Marignane. As a key member of the R&T/UAS Section, you will be responsible for leading the Certification and Qualification activities necessary to meet the development and deliveries milestones of the R&T programmes and UAS programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and demonstrate compliance of Airbus Helicopters products to the applicable airworthiness requirements.
Ensure the safe flight capability of products during development phase and later in-service safety.
Manage priorities internally and with Authorities, including EASA, FAA, DGA, and DGAC.
Coordinate R&T activities with Airworthiness Technical Department and ensure harmonised processes are used.
Follow up and report on compliance demonstration activities progress and ensure on-time completion.
Contribute to the identification, definition, and adaptation of R&T related organisation or process evolutions.
Ensure the interface with the change board management process.

Your Profile:
You will have the following skills and experience:
Educated to 5-year degree level in Engineering.
At least 3 to 5 years of overall experience.
Technical experience in Lead Function, technical support, or in Project Management.
Certification/Qualification, Permit to Fly, and Rulemaking processes basic knowledge.
Good relationship and communication skills in an international context.
Synthetic, meticulous/structured way of working, dynamic, and proactive.
French and English: negotiation level.
This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
