Mission Leader in Elderly Care Programs

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be tasked with overseeing a diverse range of facilities and services dedicated to the elderly population. This role involves the formulation and implementation of strategic policies aimed at enhancing the quality of life for seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of elderly care establishments and services, ensuring alignment with defined policies.
  • Enhance home care services to provide alternatives to institutional living.
  • Establish and coordinate resource centers that serve the elderly, collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Oversee the restructuring of home care services to adapt to the evolving needs of the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
  • Facilitate the integration of telemedicine solutions within care frameworks.
  • Supervise night nursing services in residential facilities.
  • Lead initiatives for temporary housing solutions post-hospital discharge.
  • Engage in research and development of departmental plans aimed at improving elderly care.
  • Negotiate contracts focused on multi-year objectives and resource allocation.
  • Advance the establishment of Enhanced Housing Units and Adapted Care Centers.
  • Optimize existing services to better serve the elderly community.
  • Participate in the creation of new facilities and project proposals.
  • Guide the restructuring of facilities to address emerging needs.
  • Oversee budget management and financial assessments of care establishments.
  • Conduct inspections and compliance evaluations of services.
  • Supervise administrative staff within the service.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Candidate Profile:

A Master's degree in a relevant field, particularly in Autonomy, is preferred.

This position is categorized under Category A Civil Service Professionals.
