INOVSYS is a dynamic and innovative company, a subsidiary of Airbus and EDF, specializing in technological innovation for industrial performance. We are a team of 12 people based in Marignane, with expertise and resources in:
- Sourcing and validating new technologies for the industry
- 3D printing (polymer and metal) for prototyping and material studies
- Endurance testing of mechanical components (gears, bearings, joints)
We have 500m² of workshop space at the Henri Fabre Technocentre to validate technologies and host equipment, including a 3D scanner, a cobot, and virtual reality tools.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our mechanical design activity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Functional analysis and writing of technical specifications
- 3D modeling of components
- Material selection and process choice
- Design and planning
- Analytical and numerical calculations
- Design of special systems and machines
- Writing of definition documents
- Industrialization
- Supplier and subcontractor selection and management
- Complex project management
As our activity grows, you will take on increasingly important responsibilities, including leadership and mentoring roles.
You will also have the opportunity to play a key role in client prospecting and technical offer development, in collaboration with our Development Manager.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A technical degree (Bac +5) in mechanical engineering, materials science, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical design office, with a strong focus on mechanical design and client relationships
- Excellent technical skills and a strong understanding of mechanical design principles
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Good English language skills
