Job Description
The successful candidate will conduct research on gamete donation as part of the NORPRO project. Their tasks will include:
- Establishing a state-of-the-art review on the use of third-party gamete donation
- Collecting field data (observations, interviews)
- Writing scientific articles in collaboration with the project team and individually
- Participating in the dissemination of results through summaries on the dedicated website
Responsibilities
The postdoctoral researcher will be responsible for:
- Conducting a literature review
- Collecting and analyzing data
- Contributing to the organization of the project and coordination of workshops
- Writing scientific publications and contributing to the dissemination of research results
- Participating in the life of the laboratory (seminars, conferences, workshops)
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A doctorate at the time of application
- Experience working in a team
- Knowledge of qualitative techniques
- Knowledge of the hospital environment and health anthropology
- Experience working in the fields of sociology or anthropology of family, person, reproduction, and health
Work Environment
The laboratory UMR 5193 Lisst, with CNRS, University Toulouse 2 Jean-Jaurès, and EHESS as its tutelary institutions, is launching a call for applications for an 18-month postdoctoral contract starting in December 2024. The successful candidate will benefit from a shared office space within the building and will be able to conduct missions in locations to be determined later.
The project must be carried out within the framework of the ANR NORPRO program (https:///Projet-ANR-22-CE41-0001), which aims to study the ethical and reproductive dilemmas in France. Within the framework of the NORPRO project, the postdoctoral researcher will work on the process of selecting gametes.
Constraints and Risks
The successful candidate must have a good knowledge of French and English. The application file can be written in French or English. The work will involve working on a screen for more than 4 hours.
