Postdoctoral Researcher in Noncommutative Polynomial Optimization for Quantum Network Correlations

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at the LAAS CNRS in Toulouse, France. The successful candidate will work on the project "QuantERA COMPUTE" and will be based in the POP team directed by Victor Magron.
Research Focus
The postdoctoral researcher will focus on studying correlations in quantum networks using techniques of noncommutative polynomial optimization. The research will involve developing new algorithms, implementing them in Matlab, Julia, or Python, and disseminating the results at conferences, colloquia, or congresses.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in computer science, physics, or applied mathematics and excellent publication activity in optimization or quantum information. Previous experience in non-locality of Bell, operator algebras, semidefinite relaxations for polynomial optimization, and/or quantum correlation protocols is a plus.
Working Conditions
The postdoctoral researcher will be based at the LAAS CNRS in Toulouse, France, and will have the opportunity to collaborate with the group of Igor Klep at the University of Ljubljana. The position is in a sector relevant to the protection of scientific and technical potential and requires authorization from the competent authority of the MESR.
