Job Description

The Commvault Sales Engineer is a key member of our sales team, responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our direct sales and channel partners. This role requires a highly technical individual with exceptional commercial skills, able to collaborate closely with clients at C-level and technical stakeholders to successfully position our value proposition and close deals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the regional Pre-Sales team to provide technical support and guidance to sales teams
  • Present and demonstrate Commvault's software suite of products to clients and partners
  • Work with internal departments to ensure success during sales campaigns and partner experience
  • Assist in achieving annual revenue goals in line with Commvault's regional business plan
  • Attend meetings, training, and maintain regular communication with the regional/global Pre-Sales community
Requirements
  • Demonstrably experienced in the software/SaaS industry in a similar capacity
  • Wide range of technical knowledge of data management, including applications, cloud, compliance, disaster recovery, and storage infrastructure
  • Dynamic, fast-paced individual motivated by success and takes ownership of issues to resolution
  • Exceptional internal and client-centric interpersonal skills in a commercial situation
  • Shown success in taking care of enterprise clients and working on high-level deals
  • Experience of working on sophisticated RFPs
  • Competence with prioritizing work and balancing workloads
  • Fluent English and French verbal and written language skills
