Role Overview: As an Infrastructure Solutions Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting Lenovo's innovative infrastructure solutions and products, such as block/file/AF array storage and software-defined storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with CTOs, IT decision-makers, Lenovo pre-sales and sales teams, partners, and ISVs to deliver exceptional value to our customers.
- Drive the development of Lenovo infrastructure solutions opportunities throughout the sales cycle, from understanding customer business and technical needs to crafting solution architectures and closing deals by showcasing customer value.
- Act as a trusted advisor in identifying and defining Data Management projects across on-premises, hybrid cloud, and public cloud environments.
- Build a robust pipeline of new Software Defined Datacenter and/or Storage infrastructure business within designated territories.
- Keep customers and partners informed about the latest technologies, innovations, and benefits of Lenovo ISG Storage/Data Management solutions relevant to their sectors.
- Identify customer projects, comprehend their technical requirements, and collaborate with the broader product and technical community, sales teams, and business partners to create effective and valuable solutions.
- Support enterprise sales of converged solutions (storage, networking, virtualization) or storage solutions for large enterprise accounts.
- Stay updated on trends and technologies in storage and software-defined storage solutions.
- Present Lenovo sales and technical solutions to senior-level clients, clearly articulating the value proposition.
- Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with Lenovo's international teams and customers.
- Experience with enterprise storage, including software-defined storage (e.g., software-defined and object storage) and data protection technologies.
