Job Description:
As a Storage Solutions Sales Specialist at Lenovo, you will be responsible for promoting our infrastructure solutions and products, including block/file/AF array storage and software-defined storage solutions. You will work closely with CTOs, IT decision-makers, Lenovo pre-sales and sales teams, partners, and ISVs to bring value to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop Lenovo infrastructure solutions opportunities through the sales cycle, from understanding customer business and technical requirements to building the solution architecture and demonstrating customer value.
- Act as a trusted advisor to allocated territories, defining and identifying data management projects (on-prem, hybrid cloud, and in public cloud).
- Grow and maintain customer relationships to Technical Director level and above.
- Keep customers and partners up-to-date with new technologies, innovations, and advantages of Lenovo ISG Storage/Data Management solutions relevant to their industry.
- Identify customer projects, understand their technical requirements, and build effective and valuable solutions with the wider product and technical community, sales teams, and business partners.
- Lead and/or provide technical input to tenders/RFIs/RFPs.
- Build and deliver technical product and architecture presentations to customers, partners, and teammates with your technical leadership and domain expertise on storage product trends, distributed storage architectures, file systems, and competitive storage offerings in the DAS, NAS, and SAN product spaces.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting enterprise sales of converged solutions (storage, networking, virtualization) or storage solutions for large enterprise accounts.
- Thorough understanding of architecture, design, and implementation of modern IT systems and cloud infrastructures.
- Understanding of trends and technologies for storage and software-defined storage solutions.
- Ability to create and present Lenovo sales and technical solutions to senior-level clients and articulate the value proposition.
- Awareness of the local storage competitive market, business partner objectives, and the customer industry environment.
- Able to develop SAN/NAS/Object Storage storage architectures dependent on the application or workload requirements.
- Fluent English language to communicate with Lenovo international teams and customers.
