You will join the Business Unit responsible for overseeing Alstom's railway signaling initiatives in France, reporting directly to the project planning manager for the Urban segment, focusing on metro operation automation. This role is situated in a dynamic environment with collaborative connections across various establishments.
Position Title: Project Scheduler
Your Responsibilities:
- Ensure project teams adhere to time constraints
- Integrate project timelines from subsystem schedules, establishing necessary breakdown structures and synchronization points
- Confirm the availability of essential resources
- Employ and maintain tools for time performance evaluation and related metrics
- Keep schedules current and notify stakeholders of any risks to objectives
- Engage in team planning discussions, challenge objectives, and suggest performance enhancements
- Provide monthly updates on detailed project time performance
- Communicate project progress to clients and operators
- Monitor planning assumptions and assess critical deviations
- Offer project management expertise throughout all phases of the project
Your Qualifications:
- Preferred engineering degree
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial planning and organization
- Strong enthusiasm for planning and technical aspects
- Collaborative team player with a results-oriented approach
- Persistent and focused on achieving targets
Your Skills:
- Recognized for precision and analytical capabilities
- Effective communicator regarding project progress, risks, and margins
- Proactive in challenging project teams and proposing solutions
- Valued for tailored communication in planning efforts
- Proficient in MS Project
- Fluent communication skills in both French and English
