Job Overview:

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled Aeronautical Electronics Engineer to join our team in Marignane, France. As a key member of our Computers & Electronics department, you will be responsible for managing the selection and development of onboard computers and displays, as well as associated technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish requirement specifications for equipment based on system architects' needs
  • Assess technical proposals from suppliers
  • Manage suppliers throughout development
  • Lead main design and qualification reviews
  • Manage interface between suppliers and Airbus Helicopters specialists
  • Provide justifications for certification
  • Provide technical support for helicopter integration, ground and flight tests, and Final Assembly Line

Your Profile:

We are looking for candidates with a university degree in Aerospace and/or Electronic Engineering, experience with design of onboard computers and digital electronics, and Electronic certification (DO254). You should have broad practical experience in engineering, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work autonomously. Strong communication and negotiation skills in English are also essential.

This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
