Job Description

SuperGrid Institute is seeking a highly skilled R&D engineer to join our team in the field of HVDC systems and AC/DC grid stability. As a key player in the energy transition, we are committed to developing innovative solutions for the integration of renewable energies into the electricity networks of the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop control and protection strategies for MTDC grids
  • Conduct stability analysis of AC/DC grids
  • Model and simulate complex MTDC grids and their operating states
  • Participate in European projects and collaborative research initiatives
  • Contribute to the development of new technologies for the integration of renewable energies
Requirements
  • Master 2 or PhD degree in power grid modelling, simulation, and control
  • Experience in power system engineering, power network modelling, and simulation tools
  • Strong skills in system stability analysis, small signal modelling, and frequency domain analysis
  • Proficiency in simulation tools such as EMTP, PSCAD, Power Factory, and PSSE
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
