An apprenticeship opportunity in BTS Materials (m/f) has recently become available within Airbus Helicopters.

This apprenticeship is designed for those seeking a training contract lasting between 1 to 2 years to complete their studies.

You will be part of the Quality department, responsible for surface treatment and thermal processing, ensuring the integrity of mechanical components.

The apprenticeship will focus on optimizing industrial means for thermal treatment.

  • Key Responsibilities:

You will work under the guidance of a manager who will assist you in identifying your professional goals and support your skill development.

Your main activities will include:

  • Analyzing, defining, and implementing solutions to enhance service performance
  • Thermal treatment of basic components
  • Cementation, nitriding, and sprayed deposition
  • Inspection of thermal treatment processes

All operations will be conducted in compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards (including the use of personal protective equipment).

This position requires an understanding of potential non-compliance risks. The incumbent is expected to act with integrity, which is fundamental to the success, reputation, and sustainable growth of the Company.

  • Desired Profile and Required Skills:

You are preparing for a diploma at the BAC +2 level in BTS Materials or equivalent, and possess the following skills:

  • A strong interest in materials and their properties
  • Skills in process improvement for production and inspection
  • Knowledge in material treatment, particularly thermal processes
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office

  • Detail-oriented, curious, and self-sufficient
  • Diligent and committed
  • Respectful of regulations
  • A team player.

Language Proficiency:

  • English: intermediate
  • French: fluent

Depending on the opportunities available, you may be required to travel.
