Job SummaryAmadeus is seeking a talented Cloud Architect to join our growing Hospitality Enterprise Architecture team. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and managing secure and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement secure and scalable cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Translate business needs into technically sound and cost-effective Azure architectures
- Select and configure appropriate Azure services based on specific requirements
- Automate infrastructure deployments and manage DevOps pipelines
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency
- Implement strong security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps engineers, and security professionals
- Stay current with the latest advancements in cloud technologies and Azure services
- 7+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure or equivalent, including compute, storage, networking, and security services
- Experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings
- Proven ability to design, implement and present highly available and scalable solutions to non-technical audiences
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for continuous learning and staying current with the latest cloud technologies
