Specialization/Job: Procurement - Senior Buyer in Combat Systems
Job Type: Permanent Position - Senior Buyer in Combat Systems
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the procurement strategy for Combat Systems
- Manage supplier relationships and oversee panel management with key and strategic suppliers
- Assess and define requirements for assigned contracts, select suppliers, negotiate terms, formalize contracts, and oversee contract performance
- Ensure effective contract management at a high level
- Actively engage and contribute to team efforts
- Enhance performance of activities while adhering to established processes
- Facilitate communication and coordination with stakeholders and users of the Commodities
- Lead or support cross-functional projects within the organization
This position necessitates a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities. During recruitment interviews, you will have the opportunity to engage with the department manager and gain further insights into your responsibilities.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Education:
A bachelor's degree from a business school or university, preferably with a focus on procurement, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the industrial sector, ideally within aeronautics and/or defense.
Skills:
- Knowledge of contract law
- Proficient negotiation skills
- Understanding of procurement methodologies: regulations, standards, and procedures.
