Associate Director Supply Chain Operations

As a key member of our Supply Chain team, the Associate Director Supply Chain Operations will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of supply chain strategies that drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Supply Chain Operations Specialists to ensure timely and compliant supply execution to customers.
- Oversee 3PL in-market warehousing and distribution operations, including budget management and expenditure control.
- Manage and develop a team of Supply Chain Operations Specialists to achieve business objectives.
- Lead IBP processes on the cluster level, including demand planning and market distribution.
- Collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or science.
- At least 7 years of experience in supply chain, customer service, logistics, or quality, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or consultancy.
- Solid understanding of distribution and logistics systems and processes.
- Experience with 3PL management and negotiation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IBP processes and demand planning.
- Good understanding of working in a GxP environment.
- People management capability and affinity.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities, teamwork, and collaboration.
- Proactive, taking initiative, and speaking up regarding topics in and beyond the area.
- Strategic and critical thinking, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset, solution-oriented, and can-do mentality.
- Business and finance acumen, understanding and foreseeing impacts across the supply chain and functions/divisions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and preferably French.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Acquainted with Lean/Six Sigma and any other continuous improvement methodology.
- Acquainted with SAP Hana or any other ERP system.
