EssilorLuxottica is seeking a highly skilled Global Trade Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Indirect Procurement Function, you will be responsible for managing the company's trade marketing materials spend, including POP, window displays, promotional materials, screens, and digital tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to drive cost savings and improve working capital through payment terms.
- Work closely with business functional leaders to align on needs and drive sourcing activities.
- Issue RFx and analyze best solutions, negotiate price and commercial terms and conditions.
- Implement sourcing projects and be accountable for results.
- Develop and document sourcing best practices through creation of knowledge documents.
- Quickly acquire commodity knowledge in categories where there is limited internal knowledge.
- Category Management, including policy creation/management, updating, identifying and implementing demand management programs.
- Supplier Management and continuous evaluation/assessment of supplier performance.
- Benchmarking of internal and external costs against industry and competitive standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement or related function, marketing procurement preferred.
- Experience in Indirect/Services Sourcing and/or Retail/Marketing.
- Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience in project leading, tender organization, and cost-saving projects management.
- Knowledge of General Purchasing principals and procedures, Procurement and Sourcing processes, Business, Marketing, and Trade Marketing Principles.
- Skills in Negotiation, Leadership & Project Management, Effective communication, written and oral, Strong internal and external stakeholders management, Analytics, Team working, and problem-solving.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SAP.
- Fluent in Italian/French and English, French/Italian as a plus.
- Strong ability to work in heterogeneous teams, non-structured environment, and under pressure.
- Willingness to travel internationally if requested.
