Special Situation Group (SSG) - A Dynamic Team Within KPMG Paris's GRC Division
The SSG team is a group of hands-on, solution-oriented professionals who assist clients facing complex situations or large projects in challenging environments. Leveraging their strong operational and multidisciplinary skills, the team provides support across administrative, accounting, and financial issues.
Your Role: Manager in Special Situation Group
We are seeking a driven and experienced Manager to join our growing SSG team. You will play a key role in supporting clients navigating challenging situations and complex projects.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting thorough diagnostics in demanding environments, such as analyzing the financial health of a subsidiary facing operational difficulties or investigating potential fraud within a multinational corporation.
- Developing and implementing reporting/KPI systems for general management, particularly to enhance visibility into geographically dispersed subsidiaries or those operating in politically complex regions.
- Ensuring the reliability of financial information reported by foreign subsidiaries to parent companies or upgrading accounting systems following system failures or resource constraints.
- Providing expert guidance on setting up projects and structures in challenging countries, including opening new subsidiaries in emerging markets or facilitating acquisitions in high-risk regions.
- Supporting clients in developing resilience and business continuity plans during times of crisis.
- Leading and managing project teams effectively to deliver successful outcomes.
You possess a Master's degree (from a Business/Engineering school or a university equivalent in Finance) and have at least 6 years of experience in External Audit, Deal Advisory, Financial Analysis, Internal Control, or Internal Audit within an international setting.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
- Possess fluency in French and English; additional language proficiency is a valuable asset.
- Exhibit a keen interest in international business and operational matters.
- Be open to international mobility and assignments.
- Demonstrate comfort and experience managing or working within crisis situations.
- Ideally, you have prior experience leading and managing teams.
