- Our research center in Maizieres is the largest worldwide, featuring 4 dedicated labs for product, process, bars & wires, and pilot development.
Your Role:
The main objective of this position is to develop new solutions for product characterization, focusing on steel surface analysis with coatings. You will work closely with our Digital Technologies cluster to integrate these innovations into industrial facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
- Making the link between industrial objectives and physical phenomena.
- Designing and proposing novel surface characterization solutions.
- Collaborating with academic laboratories and hardware suppliers to enhance our capabilities in spectral and hyperspectral solution integration.
Requirements:
- Engineer degree, Master degree or PhD in relevant fields such as spectroscopy, surface characterization, or infrared physics.
- First professional experience is not required but valuable, especially in research and development.
- Knowledge/experience in spectroscopy, spectral analysis, data acquisition, and processing.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python.
