As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing new solutions for product characterization, focusing on spectral and hyperspectral approaches. Your expertise in surface physics and chemistry will enable you to make a significant impact on our company's digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate spectral and hyperspectral solutions for surface characterization
- Collaborate with academic laboratories and hardware suppliers to enhance our competencies in spectral and hyperspectral solution integration
- Work closely with the Digital Technologies cluster and other ArcelorMittal research areas to drive innovation and growth
Requirements:
- Engineer degree, Master degree, or PhD in a relevant discipline (spectroscopy, surface characterization, infrared, etc.)
- Experience in spectroscopy, spectral analysis, data acquisition, and processing
- Programming skills in Python or similar languages
- Innovative, curious, and results-oriented mindset
- Excellent social skills for collaboration in a multicultural environment
- Ability to travel worldwide
- Fluent in English, French a plus
