Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Projects Permits Specialist to join our team at Alcatel Submarine Networks. As a key member of our Purchasing organization, you will be responsible for purchasing marine services related to Permit in Principal for telecom cable installation and marine Survey services worldwide.

Main Responsibilities

  • Purchase marine services from third-party suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with project requirements.
  • Develop and implement yearly sourcing strategies aligned with forecasted activities to secure project deliveries within allocated budget and ensure Purchasing KPIs are met.
  • Manage legal contract management, terms and conditions, and ensure proper make-or-buy strategy is in place.
  • Support tactical procurement sourcing strategies, including RFI, RFQ, and supplier portfolio optimization.
  • Ensure supplier risk assessment, supplier business review, and scorecard are performed and used.
  • Manage supplier mitigation and ensure HSE suppliers qualification and compliance with local legal rules.

Requirements

  • Fluency in French and English.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, and SAP.
  • Ability to multitask on multiple projects and support cross-project collaboration.
  • Change management capability and very good oral and written communication skills.
  • Supply contract legal knowledge and experience in purchasing for oil and gas, maritime business.
