Research Project

The Inria Saclay-Île-de-France Research Centre is seeking a highly qualified postdoctoral researcher to explore quantum protocols based on quantum nonlocality and quantum networks. The research project will focus on developing new methods for characterizing quantum correlations beyond the Bell scenario, including mathematical foundations and numerical developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new algorithms for characterizing quantum correlations
  • Investigate the foundational implications of quantum correlations in networks
  • Explore the limits of quantum distributed computing
Requirements

The ideal candidate should hold a PhD degree in computer science, physics, mathematics, or a related field and have an excellent track record of publications in quantum information theory. Familiarity with Bell nonlocality, operator algebras, and SDP relaxations of polynomial optimization problems is a plus.

Benefits
  • Subsidized meals
  • Partial reimbursement of public transport costs
  • Leave: 7 weeks of annual leave + 10 extra days off due to RTT + possibility of exceptional leave
  • Possibility of teleworking and flexible organization of working hours
