Role Overview:

As a vital member of the Employee Experience division, the Criteo Global Events Team, consisting of four dedicated professionals, orchestrates events on a global scale. Our focus encompasses three primary areas: managing talent acquisition events (including international conferences for Research and Development [R&D], campus initiatives, and Criteo's proprietary R&D conferences), taking full charge of significant internal gatherings (such as large-scale meetings, summits, seminars, Hackathons, and seasonal celebrations), and providing support for major marketing events across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) as needed.

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Events Manager to collaborate with our Paris-based Events team, reporting directly to a Senior Events Manager. This role is essential in ensuring our events operate seamlessly, co-creating, producing, and executing our annual events strategy that aligns with our business objectives and recruitment needs while fostering engagement among our employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver timely assistance for our large-scale internal events, including project management, production, logistics, travel coordination, communication strategies, and registration platforms.
  • Oversee collaboration with internal stakeholders to create impactful content that aligns with our brand identity, ensuring a smooth experience for all participants.
  • Comprehend Criteo's core values and brand positioning, ensuring they are reflected in the event experiences and messaging.
  • Work in partnership with various internal teams (Procurement, Marketing & Communications, Brand, Finance, Legal, Taxes, People Team, Corporate Social Responsibility, Employer Brand) and the entire Events team to manage logistics and production for our events agenda.
  • Engage with travel and/or event agencies as necessary. Facilitate administrative tasks for the events team, including budget management and procurement processes.
  • Conduct pre-and post-event evaluations, analyze return on investment, and provide recommendations for enhancements.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in executing major international events, with a minimum of four years in large-scale event management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of internal events, including strategies to enhance engagement and attendance while delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Exceptional organizational skills are essential, as the fast-paced environment at Criteo requires managing numerous competing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, characterized by enthusiasm, persuasive communication, negotiation abilities, and empathy.
  • Proficiency in English is mandatory, with French being a valuable asset. Daily communication will involve creative thinking and writing about advertising, contributing to our brand development for both current and prospective employees.
  • A self-motivated individual who is dedicated to their role, fostering empowerment and ownership.
  • A collaborative team player willing to assist colleagues within the Events team.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and flexibility to work outside regular hours when events are in progress.
  • A positive, sociable, open-minded, and adaptable individual who learns quickly.
  • Proficient in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint).
