Sales Manager, Instrument Sales

We are seeking a highly experienced Sales Manager to lead our Instrument Sales team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial Effectiveness
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
- Lead pricing strategies to optimize profitability and control costs
- Support sales teams in identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic relationships
- Drive Growth
- Lead teams to achieve profitable sales growth and exceed business plan commitments
- Identify and develop new market opportunities to drive growth in a dynamic environment
- Develop sales strategies to meet plan and expand business within assigned territory
- Leadership
- Focus on team development, building a talent pipeline, and commercial skills training
- Interact with key business partners to address market needs and analysis
- Maintain awareness of competitor and industry activity to inform business decisions
- Professional background in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Engineering, or related subjects
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a sales management position
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Good product knowledge of Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confirmed interpersonal skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities
