Thermo Fisher Scientific is a dynamic and innovative company that values performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.

As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for direct contact with customers, initiating and developing relationships to generate sales.

The portfolios you will sell include Molecular Biology, Cellular Culture, Cellular Analysis (Microscopy, Cytometry...), and Protein Biology for the Invitrogen and Applied Biosystem brands.

The position is permanent and based in our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify sales opportunities with new and existing customers and successfully sell the company's products and services to achieve or exceed the assigned territory sales plan.
  • Maintain and increase the current customer database through Company customer relations management software and coordinate sales processes for assigned accounts within your sales territory.
  • Handle and close sales leads generated by colleagues in Marketing and Technical Support teams.
  • Regularly communicate on successes, failures, and good practices to improve the overall operating efficiency of the team, region, and sales organization.
  • Contact research scientists at all accounts to discover their needs, share product information, and build sales presentations.
  • Participate in sales, product, and systems training, marketing campaigns, and special projects to develop appropriate selling skills.
  • Be in close contact with customers remotely for 80% of your time and face-to-face interactions for 20% of the time.
  • Edit quotations within Company Guidelines to generate revenues.
  • Provide sales forecast for assigned territory to support business understanding.

Requirements:

  • Master or PhD in Life Sciences required.
  • Sales demeanor: strongly motivated by targets.
  • Strong communicator: able to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrate a positive behavior and desire to succeed.
  • Ability to prioritize time optimally and complete tasks required.
  • At ease with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or similar required.
  • Proficient in French and in English.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to function optimally in a high-performance team.
  • Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a constant evolving business environment.
