Job Description:

You will be part of the HITACHI ENERGY FRANCE business in Rome, Italy, providing professional advice on legal and integrity issues related to the Grid Integration business line. This includes high-value complex tenders and projects, such as HVDC Interconnector, offshore wind, Grid, and Power Quality Solutions.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Meet with customers, partners, and suppliers to negotiate contractual terms and drive the development of business models.
  • Work as a trusted business partner, identifying legal issues and developing effective strategies.
  • Contribute to tender preparation, risk identification, and review of framework agreements.
  • Collaborate with global legal teams and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Promote dispute avoidance and manage disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Your Background:

  • A bachelor's degree in French law.
  • 8+ years of experience as a lawyer in grid systems or major utilities construction/engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of governmental and commercial regulations, FIDIC, and offshore contracts.
  • Proven communication and negotiation skills.

Language Requirements:

  • Proficiency in French and English.
  • Proficiency in Italian is a plus.
