We are seeking a highly skilled Neuromorphic Engineer to join our team at Bordeaux Neurocampus. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our current efforts in performing large-scale simulations of conductance-based neuronal models on FPGAs, with a focus on neurostimulation of the hippocampal formation.
Key Responsibilities:- Adjust and adapt the BioEmus system to replicate simulations performed by the Brian2 software
- Develop and implement FPGA designs using VHDL and HLS
- Work with embedded systems, including C/C++ programming and basic Linux
- Collaborate with computational neuroscientists to develop and refine models
- Strong programming skills in Python, C/C++, and VHDL
- Experience with FPGA design and embedded systems
- Knowledge of computational neuroscience and neural networks
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
