About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAC Planning Expert to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our Data and Analytics department, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and evolution of our Amadeus SAC Platform, supporting the Amadeus Planning Hub.

Key Responsibilities
  • Automated Solution Identification
    • Advise internal customers on business analytics services and recommend potential solutions.
    • Collect and document detailed business specifications with internal customers.
  • Solution Design
    • Analyze functional design and propose technical designs considering existing processes and tools.
    • Validate proposed solution designs with customers and solution architecture team.
  • Solution Construction
    • Develop or customize end-to-end solutions in alignment with Amadeus guidelines.
    • Conduct unit, non-regression, and performance tests to ensure quality.
  • Solution Maintenance and Support
    • Perform L3 support and propose enhancements to avoid failure and improve performance.
    • Secure adequate governance in a community of SAC superusers.
  • Solution Architecture
    • Identify, propose, and implement architecture improvements.
    • Configure data source connections and manage asset libraries.
  • Team Engagement
    • Assist, guide, and support team members in their assigned functions.
    • Actively participate in agile ceremonies.
Requirements
  • Deep experience in SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) with a focus on Planning functionalities.
  • Experience with SAP-powered IT landscapes, especially the BI suite (backend and frontend).
  • Data modeling and information classification expertise at the enterprise level.
  • Understanding of common information architecture frameworks and information models.
  • Excellent understanding of planning processes, ideally in large corporations and complex processes.
  • Excellent analysis skills in the area of Business Intelligence / Analytics.
  • Financial foundations for projects (business case, budget follow-up, accounting principles).
  • Advanced presentation and ability to summarize core messages.
  • Ability to communicate, influence, and persuade peers and leadership.
