Job Summary:
Mission:
The Senior Installation Analysis Engineer will be accountable for:
- Providing comprehensive and effective rigid pipeline installation analysis for all projects and tenders supported by the Pipeline Group, emphasizing safe and economical installation practices.
- Overseeing a team of installation analysis engineers, focusing on rigid pipeline installation assessments in various project phases, including FEED and tender stages.
- Managing the installation engineering analysis and the daily operations of the installation analysis team, delivering regular reports on project engineering activities, technical issues, and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct installation analysis for rigid pipelines utilizing S-lay, J-lay, and/or Reel-lay methods.
- Lead the installation analysis team to ensure the successful execution of analysis tasks across all projects supported by the Pipeline Group.
- Provide direct engineering support to analysis engineers on specialized topics.
- Ensure that the engineering services rendered align with the company's engineering standards, with a strong emphasis on the commercial viability of engineering solutions.
- Verify that the installation analysis solutions are appropriate and meet client requirements.
- Encourage a culture of safety and proactive initiatives within the installation engineering team during both onshore and offshore project phases.
- Actively engage in the training and development of engineers.
- Contribute to the consolidation of knowledge within the Pipeline Group department.
- Suggest innovative solutions aimed at reducing costs and mitigating risks.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering with relevant experience in the energy sector.
- A minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience in pipeline installation analysis is essential.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of French is advantageous.
