### Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Pricing Specialist to join our team at XL CATLIN. As a key member of our pricing team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Pricing, Primary Casualty, and underwriters in all aspects of primary casualty pricing.
### Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the analysis of results for the overall portfolio to help determine the impact of pricing decisions on future business profitability.
* Conduct deal-specific pricing and collateral requirements.
* Collaborate with key business stakeholders in Underwriting, Finance, Reserving, and Claims to improve pricing accuracy.
* Contribute towards loss trend selections using both internal and external data to support the annual business planning process.
* Support the monthly pricing metric process to ensure accurate and timely reporting of rate change and relative rate level metrics.
* Support development, testing, and calibration of pricing tools.
* Assist in the update of parameters underlying the rating and pricing tools for primary product lines to support market-leading technical pricing capabilities.
* Support reinsurance purchasing with data and analysis.
### Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Applied Math, Statistics, or related field.
* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent ability to think strategically.
* Desired Skills and Abilities:
* Experience in commercial lines pricing.
* In the process of the early stages of the actuarial exams with intention to qualify in the Casualty Actuarial Society.
* Leadership skills to work collaboratively with colleagues to build consensus.
* Robust influencing and negotiating skills.
