As a Senior Solutions Consultant - Operations Control & UOC, you will play a key role in contributing to the growth of the Aveva business by providing outstanding technical sales and consultancy support for Aveva solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Enabling sales growth through direct and indirect channels.
- Transferring product and domain knowledge to the Aveva distribution channel and systems integration community.
- Communicating the value proposition of our solutions to prospects and partners.
- Contributing to the planning, creation, and delivery of demonstrations and content that prove the value of our solutions.
- Animating the Community of Practice related to area of expertise.
- Engaging with prospects to understand specific needs and lead/contribute to the development of appropriate technical solutions.
- Contributing to the planning, creation, and execution of Proof of Capability presentations and demonstrations.
- Working alone or with development staff to develop and present demo applications.
Requirements:
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Typically, 5 years' experience with Aveva products for plant operations, and 5 years' experience in a technical sales, Presales or business development role.
- Significant practical experience of the implementation of SCADA or MES solutions with customers.
- Takes personal responsibility for ensuring customer concerns are solved.
- Builds working relationships with peers and with members of other teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic team.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate the needs/problems of prospective customers.
- The ability to effectively self-manage and handle multiple and possibly competing commitments simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills: English and local language, + French preferred.
