Position Overview:

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Manager of Quality Process Engineering - DDMS (f/m) to be part of our "Aviation Safety & Quality Digital Operational Solutions" team.

Your primary responsibility will be to represent the Quality function of Airbus Helicopters at the group level for the DDMS (Digital Design Manufacturing & Services) initiative.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on two key objectives: maintaining the functionality of existing Quality tools and methodologies, and evolving these systems by identifying and implementing new requirements in response to regulatory standards.

In this role, you will serve as the business owner for IT tools and/or lead various projects.

Your expertise will encompass APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), Quality preparation, helicopter configurations, and Digital Mockup. You will be tasked with identifying optimal solutions for the Quality function to enhance the integration of design data, manufacturing processes, and operational execution, utilizing systems such as CorePDM/CATIA/Delmia/SAP/MES.

Scope of Work: Our activities span globally, focusing on Quality Methods & Tools that cater to both our parent companies in France and Germany as well as our subsidiaries.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead innovative improvement initiatives within the Quality domain, particularly for the DDMS project.
  • Gather and summarize ongoing or requested Quality enhancements.
  • Prioritize and schedule project modifications in alignment with the Quality strategy.
  • Ensure consistency across Quality initiatives and advocate for a unified vision.
  • Facilitate a network of key users to define and consolidate future solutions.
  • Conduct benchmarking and technology monitoring within and outside the Airbus group.
  • Communicate and manage changes driven by improvements and innovations.
  • Assist users in navigating IT applications related to Quality, focusing on the comprehensive integration of Quality requirements from design through to manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance.
Your Qualifications:
  • Languages: Proficiency in both French and English (spoken and written) is essential; knowledge of German is advantageous.
  • Education: Minimum of a bac + 5 engineering degree.
  • Experience: Background in Design Office, Production, or Quality.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to lead teams, listen actively, and articulate specifications.
  • Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, negotiation skills, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Communication: Comfortable presenting proposals and results in both French and English.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with office software (Office) and digital tools (Google Suite).
