Position Overview
The Financial Cost Analyst plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial expenditures of the organization. This position is essential for ensuring that all costs are meticulously monitored and analyzed to align with the company's financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate and reconcile delivery documents with procurement invoices to ensure accurate payment processing and resolve any discrepancies.
- Monitor and verify accruals in anticipation of invoice receipts, ensuring timely account closures.
- Identify and rectify any inconsistencies found in purchase invoices.
- Ensure compliance with negotiated supplier rates and assess any deviations.
- Support Fleet Managers in their monthly inventory assessments, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Organize and execute annual physical counts of inventory and spare parts, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
- Maintain and update the supplier and item database within the financial management system.
- Notify management of any unusual expenses that could impact the financial statements.
Qualifications and Skills
