Job Title: 3D CAD Discipline Manager

ENGIE is seeking a highly skilled 3D CAD Discipline Manager to join our team in La Défense, France. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the 2D/3D CAD design team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the 3D CAD team across multiple engineering offices
  • Develop and implement processes to improve team efficiency and quality
  • Recruit and integrate new team members
  • Coordinate projects and ensure timely delivery of designs
  • Supervise and unify team practices and quality levels
  • Maintain up-to-date CAD data bases
  • Participate in project critical design review gateway meetings
  • Identify and resolve project constraints
  • Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, layout, and isometrics
  • Verify interfaces between disciplines and packages
  • Report on drafting production status and potential difficulties
Requirements:
  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background
  • At least 10 years' experience in drafting and design of industrial projects
  • Good understanding of engineering and construction processes/standards
  • Experience coordinating multicultural teams
  • Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, REVIT, Navisworks
  • At least 5 years of Team management
  • Fluent in English and French
