Job Title: CAD Discipline Manager

ENGIE Group is seeking a highly skilled CAD Discipline Manager to join our team in La Défense, France. As a key member of our Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the 3D CAD design team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the 3D CAD design team and ensure the development of team competencies through training and career development.
  • Be responsible for the 3D CAD design delivery and ensure that designs meet the required quality standards.
  • Animate and/or participate in project critical design review gateway meetings.
  • Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings, layout, and isometrics.
  • Report on a regular basis the drafting production status and potential difficulties to project managers and engineering management.
  • Identify and escalate issues to engineering management as necessary.
  • Develop a safety culture during project design and implementation.
  • Lead non-conformance (NCR) management and ensure that measures are taken to avoid repetition of mistakes.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years' experience in drafting and design of industrial projects in an EPC organization, preferably on an international scale.
  • Advanced knowledge in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, REVIT, and Navisworks.
  • At least 5 years of team management experience.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Ability to work with international teams.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and action plan management skills.
  • Computer skills on project management tools (MS Excel, MS Project, PowerBi, BIM/PLM/ERP).
