Project Office Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Office Lead to join our team at Firmenich. As a key member of our Ingredients Operations department, you will be responsible for leading the Capital Project Management team and supporting site management and engineering community worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the administration of Project Portfolio Management and serve as the primary contact for site and project managers.
- Ensure tight project governance follow-up through documentation, regular steering committee, change control process, and escalation mechanism aligned with standards and framework.
- Partner with Engineering, Site manager, and Finance to develop and implement practices, identify and resolve deviations vs governance/procedure, and prepare 5-year CAPEX plan.
- Support real-time budgeting decisions with up-to-date forecasts and quarterly/annual capex landing, executing data analysis and solving deviations with stakeholders.
- Develop and provide ongoing updates to key performance indicators and metrics, assist in the preparation and presentation of the monthly PMO projects reporting.
- Train and educate on standards, methodologies, and tools use, serving as the PMO key user/trainer for project documentation platform and Planview PPM.
- Be involved in the PMO community, share practices and lessons learned.
- Ms degree (engineering a plus) with minimum of 5 years of demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in industrial environment, CAPEX project management, or project portfolio management.
- Entrepreneurial and highly organized with excellent analytical skills.
- Financial knowledge as a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation/reporting capabilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships across the organization and at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, knowledge & practice in SAP. Planview PPM software is a plus.
- Fluent in English & French.
