Job Description

The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) is seeking a highly skilled Content Writer and Coordinator to join its team. As a key member of the communications department, you will be responsible for creating engaging content that supports the ESC's brand value of excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop written content for various communication channels, including email, social media, and the ESC website.
  • Copywriting, editing, and proofreading written pieces before publication.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to develop a comprehensive communication plan.
  • Coordinate the production and implementation of communication projects.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication projects.

Requirements:

  • High degree or equivalent in Communications training, journalism, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar communications position.
  • English written and spoken to mother tongue level.
  • Experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new business.
  • Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides.
  • Experience with content management systems and reporting tools.
