Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Marketing Manager for AI and Optimization to join our team at Ansys. As a key member of our marketing organization, you will be responsible for defining, driving, and developing product marketing plans and sales enablement content for our design optimization product, Ansys optiSLang, and Artificial Intelligence solutions.

About the Role: In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, product marketing, industry, sales, corporate marketing, development, partnership, field marketing, and strategic partners, to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive revenue growth and pipeline development. Your primary focus will be on creating sales readiness materials and marketing plans that support the growth and revenue goals associated with our product line and specific global campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop value-based messaging for the Optimization and AI-based product lines to prospective customers, existing customers, and partners.
  • Create and develop marketing plans and lead generation campaign kits targeting the global systems engineering audience in alignment with business growth objectives and key initiatives.
  • Manage complex projects and execute on global, multi-product marketing campaigns.
  • Be responsible for product marketing execution of new feature and product launches as part of our twice-annual release cycle.
  • Compose engaging audience-specific thought-leadership marketing content, including case studies, application briefs, web content, presentations, datasheets, whitepapers, and sales playbooks.
  • Drive execution of product promotion through virtual events, social media, third-party websites, blogs, and other digital mediums to build awareness and engagement with targeted engineering personas.
  • Ensure all product-related leads are tracked and marketing campaigns are accurately reported to measure success against business goals.
  • Partner with the Ansys corporate, industry, and field marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns that drive new business as well as up-sell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Deliver sales-focused training for the global field and channel partner sales teams in partnership with our sales enablement team to ensure sales can effectively position Ansys materials products.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to understand competitor product features, positioning, and messaging related to materials information management and related offerings.
  • Be responsible for measuring and reporting performance of product marketing tactics on a quarterly basis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, General Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering simulation and/or artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.
  • Superior ability to translate product functionality into clear customer value and deliver clear and compelling messaging in English.
  • Broad functional expertise across several marketing competencies (Digital, Social, Web Account Based Marketing).
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a geographically distributed organization.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • MBA or master's in marketing or engineering with previous experience in product marketing for B2B software business or engineering business.
  • Experience in AI trend areas like: Generative AI, Deep Learning, Optimization, Generative Design.
  • Experience supporting global B2B demand generation campaigns.
