Acuity Brands Lighting, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Director of Supply Chain to drive strategic initiatives and support the company's accelerated growth. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the organization's supply chain strategy, developing solutions for commercial growth, and delivering on key integration business performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the vision and execution of a comprehensive sourcing strategic plan to drive optimal service across diverse customer channels.
  • Partner with the engineering team to identify and engage best suppliers, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and high-quality inputs for innovative designs.
  • Lead the end-to-end Integration Business Planning strategy deployment, aligning strategic objectives and operational plans.
  • Participate in the design and execution of the global footprint strategy to support international expansion efforts.
  • Drive the supply chain's digital transformation, ensuring execution excellence through best-in-class processes, systems, and tools.
  • Implement the corporate Indirect purchasing policy and provide support to other functions in finding optimal partners and establishing terms and conditions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for strategic projects, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and refine the make or buy strategy, determining the optimal approach for raw materials and finished goods across all regions.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for inventory management, ensuring optimal service level and inventory turns.
  • Lead and enable a high-performance team of professionals, inspiring, recruiting, developing, and retaining talent, driving accountability for achieving results.
  • Establish and maintain a robust system for data collection, analysis, and reporting to ensure data accuracy and integrity across the supply chain.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management roles, with demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, integrated business planning, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in the electronics industry.
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity in a fast-paced and matrix environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving change management initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
