Our client is an engineering company that has been operating for over 30 years in the energy (Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Wind) and shipbuilding sectors.
We are seeking a mechanical structures engineer to perform studies for the nuclear sector.
In the design office, you will work on the analysis, design, and improvement of structures.
Your missions will include:
Defining methodologies for analyzing nuclear equipment
Implementing models
Performing calculations to evaluate the performance of structures and writing detailed calculation notes
Exploiting the results obtained in accordance with current regulations and safety standards in the nuclear sector
Proposing design improvements for the studied structures
Travel to clients' sites may be required.
You hold a degree in engineering or a Master's degree in mechanics and have 1 to 4 years of experience in calculations in the nuclear sector.
You are proficient in the ANSYS APDL software and ideally in the HYPERMESH software.
Knowledge of nuclear regulations (EUROCODES, RCC-M, ASME, CODAP, NF-EN 13445-3...) is a plus.
You are recognized for your rigor and autonomy.
Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to work in a team and collaborate with various project stakeholders.
Fluency in English is a plus but not required for this position.
The position is based in La Ciotat (13) in a permanent contract.
Salary range: 36,000€ to 45,000€ gross annual salary depending on profile
