Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer in the Grand Est region.
The ideal candidate will take on the role of project leader, providing essential resources and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
As a member of IPS, you will actively engage in a diverse range of project tasks, from minor enhancements to large-scale industrial constructions. Your work will span various engineering disciplines, including process engineering, equipment, mechanics, instrumentation, and automation. Project management may encompass multiple phases and specialties:
- Strategic Consulting: Project planning and conceptual engineering.
- Project Feasibility: Process descriptions, plant layout, overall timeline, procurement strategy, and financial planning.
- Project Preparation Phase: Investment analysis, basic engineering, permits, financing, and procurement.
- Project Execution Phase: Project management; detailed engineering, construction management, commissioning management, and operational management.
The role of the Senior Project Engineer is to join the project team to deliver superior service quality to clients while adhering to defined budgets and timelines.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- Over 7 years of experience in industrial projects.
- Team spirit and leadership skills, attention to detail, foresight, resilience under pressure, and strong communication abilities.
- Passionate about project work, committed to delivering high quality while understanding project management aspects.
- Fluency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (40%).
