As the Creative Leadership Director for Oatly, you will be an integral part of the Oatly Department of Mind Control (ODMC), a dynamic team dedicated to producing innovative, trend-setting, and impactful creative work.

This role differs significantly from traditional creative director positions. You will not have clients to manage; instead, you will focus on establishing strategic objectives and channeling your energy into generating and executing creative ideas.

In this position, you will have the autonomy to determine the projects you wish to pursue in your markets, holding full accountability for the output. Understanding the broader context and ensuring that your work aligns with strategic goals is crucial, as you will be the sole approver of your projects. This is not merely an approval role; every member of ODMC is a creator, and if you thrive on producing exceptional work without bureaucratic hurdles, you will fit right in.

You will work closely with General Managers in your designated markets (France, The Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and Italy) to pinpoint business challenges and opportunities. Building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will be essential for your success, as you will be a catalyst for growth and a key driver of strategy and execution.

As the custodian of one of the world's most distinctive brands, you will ensure that ODMC's initiatives effectively advance our business objectives in your regions.

Your mission involves collaborating with local teams to identify challenges and uncover opportunities that will elevate the brand and propel the business forward, consistently striving to lead in innovative ways and outpace competitors.

Given our non-traditional budget approach, it is vital to recognize the potential of great ideas and how they can be effectively leveraged. The standard for creative excellence is exceptionally high, and your work must not only be outstanding but also align with our broader business goals.

The role reports to the ODMC Managing Director, but this is primarily a formality, as your work will not undergo review or approval.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the creative sector, with a portfolio that showcases your expertise.
  • A proven history of success in managing significant brand initiatives.
  • Experience in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • A deep understanding of innovative creativity and a solid background in curating creative concepts.
  • An ability to simplify complex ideas.
  • A passion for experimentation and creative exploration.
