At Dover Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our team and drive the sales of our MAAG equipment in the North-West half of France. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our existing customer base, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships through regular sales follow-up and technical support.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with our factories and technical experts to prepare bids and negotiate contracts.
  • Develop a forward-looking approach to win new accounts, including manufacturers, users, and engineering firms.
  • Organize visits to the area and make appointments independently.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers, working closely with our factories in Switzerland and Germany.
  • Monitor business throughout the sales cycle, including costing, invoicing, receipts, order tracking, and payment tracking.
  • Ensure smooth commissioning and manage customer relations throughout the technical phase.
  • Report regularly to your manager and participate in promotional and marketing operations.

Requirements:

  • Dual training in technical and commercial fields, with a specialization in mechanical engineering and/or hydraulics.
  • At least 5 years' experience in the plastics industry, with knowledge of extrusion, granulation, and filtration processes.
  • Experience working with manufacturers of single or twin screw extruders, peripherals, and competitors in the industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to create and maintain an internal and external network.
  • Fluent English, with German a plus.
