Sidel is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to work on the Packing range of our equipment. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of our machines, ensuring they meet the estimated cost and deadline forecasts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and assemble machines in accordance with cost and deadline forecasts
  • Ensure machines are tested and put into production
  • Organize and conduct technical meetings to discuss commissioning progress
  • Obtain customer acceptance reports
  • Make necessary adaptations and revisions, install tooling and retrofits
  • Ensure machines are performing well after work is completed
  • Contribute to the implementation of corrective action plans
  • Provide initial support to customers on site or by phone
  • Train customer site staff
  • Direct customers towards services, parts, and training
  • Promote Sidel products and technologies
  • Ensure administrative organization of customer assignments
  • Mobilize resources to carry out missions effectively

Requirements

  • Technical background in Mechanics, Automation, or Electrical
  • English and French language skills
  • Field experience is a strong plus
  • Availability to travel at least days per year
