Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician

SUEZ is seeking a dedicated and experienced Wastewater Treatment Plant Technician to join our team in the North Oise-Île-de-France region.
As a key member of our sanitation services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of wastewater treatment facilities. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from daily plant management to routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
Your Responsibilities:- Operate and monitor wastewater treatment equipment, adjusting settings as needed to maintain optimal performance.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all plant systems and components.
- Respond promptly to any malfunctions or operational issues, implementing corrective measures to minimize downtime.
- Manage inventory of treatment products and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for continuous operation.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the selection and procurement of equipment, materials, and services required for plant maintenance and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of all operational data, including performance metrics and maintenance logs.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 coverage and rapid response to emergencies.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong technical background and proven experience in wastewater treatment operations.
- Possess a degree in Electro-Mechanical - Maintenance - Water Management (GEMEAU / Water Professions).
- Have at least 2 years of hands-on experience working in a similar role within a wastewater treatment facility.
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
