YOUR ROLE
Are you interested in assisting the team in designing, negotiating, and managing the Application Systems landscape? Do you enjoy acting as the bridge between the technical and business realms of the organization?
If so, we invite you to consider a role with CEVA Logistics as a Strategic Business Solutions Architect. In this position, you will engage with all system aspects connecting CEVA's application suite and external business partners, while also overseeing the integration of CEVA's solution stack within the organization.
The Strategic Business Solutions Architect collaborates with stakeholders from both business and application domains (COE), as well as the Integration COE and Infrastructure COE, to design a cohesive and modern system landscape. Continuous innovation ensures that CEVA's system landscape supports our IT solutions portfolio, providing a competitive edge for our business services.
This role can be based in Europe.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Collaborate and challenge a consistent architecture that encompasses all aspects of service, including both internal and external IT systems.
- Coordinate with the business to facilitate initial architecture review and approval of applications and their interconnectivity.
- Align the application strategy with the broader IT strategy in the context of CEVA's business objectives.
- Communicate effectively with partners from business and adjacent IT departments (COE).
- Translate and drive tactical and strategic needs from business lines and IT system domains (COE) into a comprehensive system roadmap, recommending the reuse of CEVA technology where applicable.
- Work alongside domain application architects to design and implement a consensus-based, adaptable, and scalable system landscape.
- Oversee proof of concepts and vendor/product selection initiatives for all aspects of system integration.
- Identify opportunities, analyze impacts, and drive continuous innovation within the system integration landscape.
- Develop a governance framework with a set of policies and guidelines for internal and external system integration through a standardized review process.
- Collaborate with technology owners to ensure architectural consistency within the system integration landscape.
- Identify and escalate missing components to EA to determine mitigation strategies for gaps and risks.
- Document processes to support existing and future business needs.
- Build trust within and across global teams in support of the EA strategy.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering large-scale system integration landscapes.
- 5-7 years of experience in Logistics / 3PL, acting as a content expert on the business side to challenge and debate solutions, as well as representing EA in new projects and initiatives.
- Experience with data integration methods and technologies (e.g., ETL, Data Virtualization, Master Data Management).
- Proven experience in developing and driving IT roadmaps.
- Expertise in system and information architecture and design mechanisms.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in managing a team of technical experts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to interact with senior internal and external partners.
- A forward-thinking mindset, able to envision requirements for the next 5-10 years while being pragmatic and cost-effective in building a strategy and roadmap that is fit for purpose.
