You will join the Business Unit responsible for overseeing Alstom's railway signaling initiatives in France, reporting directly to the project planning manager for the Urban segment of the Business Unit, specifically focusing on metro operation automation. This role is situated in a dynamic environment.

Position Title: Project Scheduler

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that project teams adhere to time constraints
  • Integrate project timelines from various subsystems, establishing necessary decomposition structures and synchronization points
  • Confirm the availability of essential resources
  • Utilize and implement tools for analyzing time performance and associated metrics
  • Keep schedules current and identify risks to objectives
  • Engage in team planning discussions, challenge objectives, and suggest performance enhancements
  • Provide monthly updates on detailed project time performance
  • Communicate project advancements to clients and operators
  • Monitor planning assumptions and assess critical deviations
  • Offer project management expertise throughout all phases of the project

Your Qualifications:

  • Preferred engineering degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial planning and organization
  • Strong enthusiasm for planning and technical aspects
  • Collaborative team player with a goal-oriented approach
  • Determined and focused on achieving targets

Your Skills:

  • Recognized for precision and analytical capabilities
  • Effective communicator regarding project status, risks, and margins
  • Proactive in challenging project teams and proposing solutions
  • Value planning efforts through tailored communication
  • Proficient in MS Project
  • Fluent communication in both French and English
