Transportation Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Project Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing transportation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage transportation projects, including planning, coordination, and execution, to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Logistics Leadership: Lead a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure team members are equipped to meet the demands of the role.
- Supply Chain Expertise: Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize transportation costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, procurement teams, and transportation providers, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Analyze complex transportation issues, identify solutions, and make informed decisions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
- Education: University degree in international transport or supply chain field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position, with validated experience in logistics, supply chain, and Out of Gauge (OOG) transport.
- Language: Fluent in English, with French language desirable.
- Skills: Leadership, initiative, decision-making, result-oriented, customer-focused, team spirit, and good communication skills.
