Job Opportunity:

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a skilled Transmission System Design Responsible to join our Engineering department in Marignane, France.

This role is part of the Transmission Design & Dynamic Systems Architecture department, responsible for the entire Airbus Helicopters fleet. As a Transmission System Design Responsible, you will be responsible for defining technical objectives of transmission systems, following detailed design and compliance to requirements, and managing activities in accordance with Airbus Helicopters' applicable processes.

You will work closely with various Airbus Helicopters entities, including stress analysis, work preparation, quality, production, lab tests, flight tests, project, configuration, airworthiness, and other design offices. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability and performance of transmission systems.

To succeed in this challenging role, you will need to have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years of experience in the aeronautical domain. You should possess excellent communication skills, a synthesis spirit, and be able to work in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have advanced level English language skills and negotiation level French language skills. German language skills would be an asset.

This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • 5 years' degree level in mechanical engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in the aeronautical domain
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced level English language skills and negotiation level French language skills
  • German language skills would be an asset
