Airbus Helicopters is seeking a skilled Transmission System Design Responsible to join our Engineering department in Marignane, France.
You will be part of the Transmission Design & Dynamic Systems Architecture department, responsible for the whole Airbus Helicopters fleet. Your primary mission will be to design and develop transmission systems that meet the required performance, manufacturing, and reliability standards.

Your challenge:
As Transmission System Design Responsible, you will be in charge of defining technical objectives of transmission systems, following detailed design and compliance to requirements, managing activities in compliance with Airbus Helicopters processes, writing tests requests and conclusions, preparing and following-up tests, certifying transmission systems, and belonging to a Squad organization.
You will interact with various Airbus Helicopters entities, including stress analysis, work preparation, quality, production, lab tests, flight tests, project, configuration, airworthiness, other design offices, program, and customer support. To succeed in this challenging transmission systems environment, you will use your experience within Airbus Helicopters engineering and be closely supported by the Métiers organization.
Your profile:
Educated to 5 years' degree level in mechanical engineering or equivalent. At least 3 years of experience in aeronautical domain. Synthesis spirit, rigorous, good communication skills, advanced level in English, negotiation level in French, and German as a plus. This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
