Key Responsibilities:
- Manage purchase requisitions and gather requirements effectively.
- Conduct supplier benchmarking for projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and ethical standards.
- Develop and validate lists of potential bidders.
- Confirm budgets and required delivery timelines in alignment with project schedules.
- Prepare and issue tenders for materials, equipment, services, and subcontracting needs.
- Solicit quotes, clarify pricing, and deadlines while collaborating with technical teams for verification and validation.
- Negotiate contractual and commercial terms, including pricing, guarantees, and payment clauses.
- Collaborate with engineers to create technical comparison tables.
- Compile commercial comparison tables for managerial approval.
- Liaise with legal and contract engineering teams during negotiations.
Contractual Management:
- Draft contracts for validation by the procurement manager.
- Generate purchase orders and initiate kick-off meetings.
- Oversee order follow-up until commissioning, ensuring effective communication with project logistics and cross-functional teams.
- Coordinate inspections as necessary.
- Verify supplier invoices for compliance and forward them to accounting.
- Maintain supplier references in the database.
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum of Bac 2 education.
- Background in Business School or Business Engineering.
- Relevant training in Purchasing.
- 2 to 5 years of professional experience.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Experience in project procurement.
- Familiarity with the energy sector is advantageous.
- Ideally possess a technical background in general mechanics.
- Strong negotiation skills.
